About Camorada
Camaroda was established October 2012, by a small team which wanted to develop a business specialising in recycling your Camera, Camcorder, Lens or Sat-Nav for the best price possible.
Many people have items that they will never use again, just sitting there in a drawer, depreciating in value. At Camorada we know there are people out there, in other parts of the world, who would love your old equipment and we want to make sure they have access to it and can use it so it doesn't go to waste.
In order to offer the best prices for your gadget we also decided to use live pricing instead of uploading a template of Makes / Models & Prices to the site. This way if you take 2 minutes to fill in a FREE VALUATION FORM, we will ensure we do our best, using our software and database, to come back to you with the best price.
Since the company began, we have seen strong growth and the number of free valuations we give out each month has been increasing steadily month on month. We intend to continue this growth until we are the number one recycler for this sector and are the people to contact when you want to recycle your Camera, Camcorder, Lens or Sat-Nav.
CAMORADA currently has a team of 7 people, including our Directors, Sales, Marketing, IT and Technical staff, and as we continue to grow and we hope to increase this much further.
We always try to offer the highest recycling price in the industry and would be very surprised if a better price was found elsewhere, but if for some reason you do, feel free to contact us with the details and we'll do our best to beat any like for like quote.
Helping the Environment
If something isn't recycled it is generally just thrown out in the trash. Unfortunately Cameras do not decompose and more importantly, the batteries that are left inside them contain lithium which is extremely harmful to the environment.
One of the best ways to help the environment HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE to keep using items which have ALREADY been made instead of MAKING NEW ONES. This is why we wanted to give people an opportunity to CASH in their old items and get some money for doing so, whilst we make sure YOUR OLD ITEM BECOMES SOMEONE ELSE'S NEW.
We give an opportunity to prevent this. Even if a camera is so badly damaged that it can never be used again, we ALWAYS ENSURE they are disposed of it in the correct way.
Our Work for Charity
CAMORADA is always providing promotions for charities. People can recycle their items with us and instead of keeping their cash, we donate it straight to the CHARITY they have selected.
